It’s no secret that at Green Square we are sports mad, which is why we feel incredibly honoured to work so closely with our history making heroes at Essex County Cricket Club. With the celebrations of the Summer of 2019 still going strong and with Christmas only a week away, we have proudly produced two commemorative books capturing the ball by ball excitement of the Division One Championship and T20 Blast Cup double triumph. Both publications will undoubtedly be gift wrapped under many Christmas trees awaiting eager recipients on December 25th.

Essex Cricket’s Marketing Executive, Dan Porter, has lived, breathed, written and supplied the huge amount of content and detail in recent weeks which has allowed our creative design team to work their magic. The end result has been two works of art that will be treasured for many years to come. The books are available individually and as a limited edition box set from the club’s online store. 

The close season is a surprisingly busy time for all the great staff at Essex Cricket and Green Square are on constant alert for producing materials to showcase the new initiatives and ideas that the sales, marketing and commercial teams are continuously working on. New advertising and sponsorship deals are an ongoing sell, such is the demand for companies to be involved with England’s most successful professional cricket club.

They say success breeds success and Green Square have been very fortunate to have benefited from the Eagles’ on field and off field unprecedented victories. We like to think the relationship is a mutually good one as both parties continue to recommend each other. It is surreal knowing the players as well as we do but more important is the friendship we have with Darrell, Ash, Ruth, Alex, Greg, Callum, Julie, George, Rowan, Jess, Chris, Kelly and the aforementioned Dan. I know I have forgotten somebody so apologies if it is you.
